Principal/Room 4 Teacher

It is a pleasure and privilege to be the Principal of Waituna West School. I am continually amazed by our wonderful students, staff and community; all of which contribute to the success of our school.
My wife (Amy) and I have just moved back to Palmerston North from Wellington. We are excited to be back ‘home’ and to be a part of the Waituna West School community.
I come from a large family and have three other siblings. My eldest sibling, and sister, is an interior designer, lives in Wellington with her husband and has two children. My eldest brother is a Police Detective and lives in Wellington with his wife. My younger brother is a Corporate Lawyer, lives in Auckland with his wife and has two children. Both of my parents still live in Palmerston North - so it is great being closer to them again!
I spend much of my spare time playing sports, renovating houses or looking after my beautiful nieces and nephews. The main sports that I am involved with are running, triathlon, tennis and football (mainly in the playground nowadays!). I am also an avid rugby fan; so I follow the All Blacks, Hurricanes and Hawke’s Bay NPC team very closely!
